April 2026

1 Spring School Picture Retakes

Holy Week @ Bethany Church

Join us for Holy Week at Bethany Church as we remember and rejoice in the hope we have in Jesus! Our Good Friday service will be a time of reflection and worship as we remember Christ’s sacrifice for us. Then on Easter Sunday, we’ll celebrate His victorious resurrection with joyful praise and a message of hope. We encourage Busy Bee families who don’t have a Church home to come experience the truth and joy of the Gospel with us this Easter!

1-2 Easter Week Celebrations with Egg Hunt

We’ll celebrate with festive decorations, Easter-themed crafts, and joyful egg hunts in the green space by the pavilion. Most importantly, we’ll learn about the death and resurrection of Christ and the true meaning of Easter. Each child brings a dozen prepackaged eggs, and classes may request one volunteer to help hide them for the fun!

Busy Bee and Bethany Church invite you to a joyful Saturday Easter celebration filled with fun and fellowship! Enjoy Easter crafts, hear the Resurrection story, and hunt for eggs (ages 2-10). Don’t forget to bring a basket for your eggs!

Weather permitting, outdoor activities will follow. At 11:30, the pavilion will be open for a (bring your own) picnic lunch, and the playground will be available to young children until 12:30.

Come for fun engagement for the whole family– please RSVP below. We look forward to celebrating with you!

6-10 Free Swap & Shop

8:45 am – 1:45 pm

Spring has sprung, and it’s the perfect time to refresh your home and bless others! Join us in the Fellowship Hall for our FREE Community Swap & Shop—a chance for families to exchange gently used clothes, books, toys, and more.

How It Works:

  • Drop off your items and place them on clearly labeled tables by category.
  • Browse anytime throughout the week to find new-to-you treasures.
  • No donation required to shop!

All leftover items after April 10 will be donated to Arc, Renewed Treasures, or Bemis Library to continue blessing others in our community.

Want to help? We’re looking for volunteers to keep the donations organized. Sign up below!

Let’s share, recycle, and support one another this spring!

15-16 Parent Appreciation

After dropping off your child, please join us in the foyer for a small token of appreciation from Bethany Busy Bee. This is our way of saying thank you for your ongoing support and partnership throughout the year. We truly appreciate you!

24 Art Gala

Join us for one of our most popular family events, showcasing your child’s unique masterpieces from the school year. Each child will have 3–4 pieces on exhibit. Enjoy crafts in the sanctuary, outdoor play on the playground (weather permitting), and refreshments in the foyer.

We’ll also offer a free family photo booth to capture memories for your child’s end-of-year memory book. Feel free to invite extended family and friends for an evening of fun and celebration!

Your presence is valued but not required. Please RSVP below to help us plan.

27 Denver Rescue Mission Collections Begin

Busy Bee families come together to collect diapers and wipes for those in need, teaching kids the power of compassion and community. When we serve as a group, our impact grows— and everyone can help make a difference!

29-30 Young Athlete’s Day Special Olympics

Parents are welcome to watch their child participate in outdoor activities during their regular recess.

We’re also seeking volunteers to help make the day a success! Please sign up using the button below.
