Summer’s End Celebration: Top Hogs Cookout!
We’re excited to invite you to our end-of-summer celebration! Join us for our Summer’s End Celebration featuring Top Hogs—real, live performing pigs that are sure to entertain and amaze the whole family. These talented pigs do tricks, show off their smarts, and bring a whole lot of laughs! Bethany Church is also blessing us with a cookout, so bring your appetite and your sense of wonder. We can’t wait to see you there!

2025 Teacher Home Visits
The Teacher Home Visit is the first parent-teacher conference, done in the comfort of the child’s own home environment to help ease your child’s transition into a classroom setting for the school year. Please sign up for your child’s teacher home visit conference using the corresponding links below.
2025 Meet & Greets
Children get to meet their teacher and play with their classmates on the playground while parents mingle. Each class meets separately, playing on the playground to build relationships before the first full day of school; small groups of families will be taken to the classroom for a tour.
This is also a good day to sign up for volunteer opportunities, or ask any questions you may have.

New & returning parents required to attend.
Families meet in the Sanctuary at 8:45 am for orientation. Families will then be dismissed to meet at the child’s classroom where the teacher will conduct a classroom orientation, providing snack & play time. This day provides a soft start, easing into the first regular day of school.
Our director, Joyce Bertram, will go over the school handbook in the sanctuary; during this time, we will provide you with your Parent packet with a keycard and information about school events & your child’s class.
Orientation ends at 10:45 am, when parents will go pick up their child from the classroom. This is not a full day. A parent or guardian is required to attend the entire orientation.

8 Lunch Bunch Begins
Elevate your child’s school day experience with our Lunch Bunch program for enrolled students, where children enjoy a planned activity along with eating their own lunch with their peers. Lunch bunch is an enrichment program with activities such as soccer, cooking, board games, art, and dance; these activities work to encourage physical motor skills, creativity, teamwork, following instructions, taking turns, and social etiquette. Offering a well-rounded mix of active, creative, and social enrichment, every day brings new moments of connection, growth, and joy.

15-16 Fire Safety Talk w/ South Metro Fire Rescue
The fire department comes into Bethany Busy Bee to talk about fire safety annually; this is a great way to introduce the importance of fire safety & drills.
We will also be collecting a meal for the First Responders as part of our community service opportunity. The meal will be issued to them during their visit to Busy Bee.

22-26 FREE Business Table Fair
Parents are allowed an opportunity to showcase their business on tables provided by the school. Please inform the school office if you need a table.
24-26 Walkathon
We welcome parents, siblings and grandparents to join in and come along the walk-a-thon on Highline Canal with the kids. Please wait at the foyer to meet with your child’s class. We need chaperon volunteers for a 1 adult to 5 students, please sign up using the button below.
