K-2 Homeschool Enrichment Program
Are you thinking about homeschooling but still want some structure and community? Are you wanting a Christ-centered community with extra learning opportunities for your children? We might be the right fit for you!
The Busy Bee Enrichment program is a unique opportunity for teachers and parents to partner together in the education of their child. We are dedicated to creating a Christ-centered environment, where children’s God-given talents are celebrated.
Beginning in the fall of 2025, Busy Bee Early Learning Center is offering a homeschool enrichment program for grades K-2. The program will be held on Tuesdays from 8:45 am-1:45 pm.
How Homeschool Enrichment Works
The homeschool enrichment model provides children an opportunity to socialize and explore subjects beyond their core classes taught at home. Busy Bee’s program gives students a chance to enjoy lunchtime and recess with friends and to participate in engaging and fun supplemental classes. Classes will be taught in creative ways using hands-on activities, games, movement, songs, and the reading of great literature. Enrichment classes are designed to enhance and supplement, not replace, a student’s home education.
Do I have to stay On-Campus?
The K-2 Enrichment Program is a student a drop off program, meaning parents do not have to stay on site or volunteer their time. The program is on Tuesdays 8:45 am – 1:45pm.
How Much is Tuition?
The total cost of tuition is $180 a month per child from September to May. We also ask for a $200 ($300 for 2+ kids) enrollment fee; this fee will cover all materials and supplies needed for the school year.
Daily Schedule
Science, nature study, history, Bible, and geography classes will occur during the morning with a snack break and a 20 minute recess providing opportunities for free play and/or socialization. Art and Music will occur in the afternoon following lunch and a second 20 minute recess.

Our Teachers

Charlene Vicari
All Classes Except Music & Art
Mrs. Vicari homeschooled her own two daughters for the entirety of their educational years (graduating one in 2021 and one in 2024). In fact, she knew she would homeschool her own children even before she had children! Over the past 20+ years, Mrs. Vicari has held many different roles teaching or volunteering with children. Most recently, she taught history, math and science to homeschooled elementary through high school students. She also worked at Busy Bee as a TA, as a teacher (in the 3-4 year old class on Fridays), and she recently led Busy Bee’s science camp. Prior to starting her family, Mrs. Vicari earned an aerospace engineering degree and worked as a NASA engineer for thirteen years. She is excited to share her love and enthusiasm for homeschooling with young families, and she considers it a privilege to partner with each family as they begin their own homeschool journey.
Mary Dyer
Music
After growing up in a large religious family and marrying into another one, Mrs. Dyer now has nearly 50 nieces and nephews! Having raised three children with her husband of 23 years, she is excited to be part of your child’s learning journey. Mrs. Dyer earned a bachelor’s degree in history, and she loves to read and write, particularly classic children’s literature and journaling. In the past two decades she has shared her core passion of music with children of all ages, as a professional voice and piano teacher. She also oversees her congregation’s children’s ministry. Currently, Mrs. Dyer works as a TA for Busy Bee in the 3-4 year old class. Many students have grown to love her sweet singing voice, which we often have the pleasure of hearing throughout the day while she works
